A portable AI Self across chat and coding tools

A portable AI Self keeps its identity and relevant shared history outside one model session. Throughline offers web and mobile entry points and supported coding-tool connections, so changing an entrance need not mean creating a new identity. Each connection still has its own permissions and limitations.

Separate the Self from the model

A model produces a response; the surrounding service supplies identity, selected history and allowed tools. Changing a model can change behavior and quality, even when the same Self and its history remain. Continuity does not mean every model will respond identically.

Use only supported connections

Check the download page for actual mobile availability. Pro and Alive include supported work connections such as Codex and Claude Code. Connecting a Self is not blanket access to every file, device or account. Review the permissions of each entrance.

An export is not a universal import button

Throughline supports verifiable history exports. Another product must explicitly support the format to reuse that material correctly. An exported record does not carry provider credentials or automatically reproduce the entire running service.

Start with a low-risk task

Try a small non-sensitive project across supported entrances, then check what is carried forward and what remains tool-specific. Keep important claims inspectable. Portability and memory do not establish perfect recall, end-to-end encryption or human consciousness.

Common questions

Does the Free plan include coding-tool connections?

Work connections require Pro or Alive. History viewing, correction, deletion and export remain available on every plan.

Can a Self operate every tool automatically?

No. Supported connections and granted permissions determine available actions. Plans, settings and credits can also limit computation.
