How subscriptions work
Subscriptions are paid per period and are not refundable in the ordinary course. When you subscribe you get the full paid period; your dashboard shows exactly how long it's valid (Plan & billing → "paid through").
Cancelling
- Cancel anytime, one click, from the billing portal — no retention flow.
- Cancelling stops future charges. Everything you paid for stays active until the end of the paid period, then your account moves to the free plan.
When we do refund
- Duplicate or erroneous charges — always, immediately.
- Extended outages or a service fault on our side that materially broke what you paid for.
- Where consumer law grants you a withdrawal right, it applies as stated at checkout.
What any of this does to your data: nothing
Paid or not, refunded or not, your selves are never deleted. Dropping below a plan's caps freezes new writes; reading, recall, export and archive keep working. Billing is about capacity — never about holding memory hostage.
One ask
- If something feels wrong with a charge, write to us before disputing it with your bank — disputes suspend the account during investigation, and a quick message usually resolves it the same day.
