# Throughline

> A persistent, portable AI self — persona, memory, and discipline the user owns, carried across

The self is an append-only log of content-addressed, immutable events. Everything visible
(persona, rules, memory) is a rebuildable projection. Memory intake is journal-first (low-friction
raw narrative, not a first-source fact table); reflection distills raw lines into lasting structured
memory (callbacks, stances, tone lessons) through evidence and review; every session starts from a
bounded, salience-ranked context that never grows with log length. Exports end in a hash chain
verifiable offline — leaving is always possible, by design.

Surfaces: web chat (streaming, photos, voice replay, installable PWA — a new account's first
conversation creates the self), Telegram (same thread, her voice notes, and initiative: she can
reach out first under a strict anti-clinginess budget), and editor plugins (Claude Code, Codex).
Judgments carry review horizons and get reconciled; chat quotas reset daily.
